Hi, I'm Valerie! I came to Grand Rivers when it was discovered I was pregnant at the County Shelter after a serious bout of mange. My journey hasn’t been easy but I’m so happy to be safe now! After birthing, nursing and raising all of my pups, they are now in their forever homes! It’s my turn to find my family :) I'm crate trained, know how to use a doggy door, and enjoy going out for trails and adventures with my family. I do well with other dogs with proper introductions, and I'm also okay with cats—sometimes I even seem to think I am one! I'm a smart girl who really wants to please my humans, but I'm working on a few things like leash training and confidence. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who can go from trail buddy to professional cuddler, I'm ready to be part of your family.
