Summit is one of the GRHS members that is more on the shy side at the moment. He loves people and he loves treats, he's just still trying to figure out life at the county shelter. Once he comes out of his shell though, Summit is going to be the sweetest boy. He's gentle when taking food and treats, he's more on the submissive side when interacting with other dogs, and overall he is going to make the perfect companion for just about anyone. He will probably be a great hiking buddy too! At this time, we think that Summit would do best in a mellow home. He is also timid about things going over his head at the moment, but we are working with him slowly but surely. He will THRIVE when he leaves the shelter! Consider fostering or adopting Summit!
