I've found my furever family!

Rita landed at MCAS and had successful knee surgery. She is a very sweet dog. She is shy in new circumstances, but when she warms up, she is very affectionate, and likes to be near her person. She likes toys and is happy to play with them herself and enjoys spending time on the couch but also enjoys some romping in the backyard. She is crate trained, and housebroken. She does not enjoy car rides yet but is working on it. She has some allergies that are being treated, and because of her knee surgery vet said she can’t go on long hikes (but can still do normal walks!) She will make a wonderful companion.
