Hi, I'm Ladybird! I'm a sweet girl who's been through quite the journey, and now I'm settling beautifully into foster care and learning just how lovely life can be. My foster mom says I have wonderful manners and a great foundation of training, and I'm ready to find a family to call my own. If you ask me what my favorite thing in the world is, the answer is easy: being with my people. Whether we're heading out on an adventure, relaxing in the yard, or just spending time together, I'm happiest when I'm by your side.
My second favorite thing? Fetch! I could happily chase a ball around the yard and then come back to spend time with you—it really is the best of both worlds. I'd love a home with a fenced yard where we can play together every day before curling up and relaxing. I'm looking for someone who's dog-savvy and understands how to read my body language while continuing to reinforce the manners and boundaries I've been working so hard on. I'd probably do well with another dog, would prefer a home without children, and cats are still a bit of a mystery to me. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who's equal parts playful, loving, and wonderfully well-mannered, I think we'd make the perfect team.
