I've found my furever family!

Hi, I'm Hammy! I might be a little nervous when we first meet, but don't let my kennel manners fool you—once I'm out and have a chance to warm up, my wonderfully quirky personality comes right out. I LOVE climbing, rubbing myself against my favorite people, and getting a good butt scratch. Honestly, I'm not entirely convinced I'm a dog. I have some pretty strong cat-like tendencies, and I think I'll happily accept that as a compliment. I walk nicely on a leash and don't mind being picked up, either!

I'm looking for someone who will give me a little time to get comfortable and then enjoy all the silly little things that make me, well... me! I should do well with other dogs and kids, and while we haven't officially tested me with cats, I have a feeling I'd probably understand their whole "I'm actually a cat" thing pretty well.
