Hi, I'm Diesel. The last couple of months have been a lot for me. I was growing up, figuring out the world, and then suddenly everything changed—and I've found myself spending that time in a shelter. It's taken me a while to understand what's happening, so I'm still a little scared when the world feels too big. But if you give me some time to come out of my shell, you'll get to meet the goofy, lovable boy hiding underneath all those nerves.
I'm actually a pretty perfect little gentleman. I love attention from my people, but I'm just as happy playing with my toys while keeping you company nearby. I'll happily accept treats, and when I settle down, I have a habit of crossing my paws like I'm waiting politely for tea. I'm looking for someone who will let me decompress at my own pace and then show me all the good things I've been missing—walks, adventures, toys, and just getting to be a dog. I'd do well with kids over 10 and other dogs, while we don't know about cats yet. Give me patience, a little time, and a safe place to land, and I think you'll discover a really wonderful boy.
