Hi, I'm Cassie. Right now, the world feels like a pretty big place, and I'm still learning that it doesn't have to be so scary. I'm spending some time in a wonderful foster home where I'm getting the chance to decompress, build my confidence, and discover that new experiences can actually be good things. Every day brings a few more small victories, and my foster family is helping me learn what it means to feel safe.
I'm not quite ready for my forever home just yet, but I will be soon! For now, I'm focusing on becoming the bravest version of myself. The family who adopts me will get to watch me continue to blossom and celebrate all of those little milestones along the way. I may be starting out as a timid girl, but with patience, kindness, and love, I know I'll grow into an amazing companion. I can't wait to meet the people who will cheer me on through every step of my journey.
