Hi, I'm Cassie! I'm about 8 months old, and I'm still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. New people can be a little scary for me—especially men—so I like to take my time getting to know someone. I may be timid at first, but I've never shown any aggression. I just need a patient person who will let me build trust at my own pace. One of my favorite things in the whole world is going for walks, and they're the quickest way to help me feel comfortable and confident. Once I know you're my person, I'm a sweet girl who loves attention and simply being nearby.
While people can be intimidating at first, I absolutely adore other dogs. I currently live with five canine friends, and I get along wonderfully with all of them. I know to respect the older dogs in the house, but I love playing with the younger ones, so I'd likely thrive in a home with another playful pup to help show me the ropes. I'm also almost completely house trained, fully crate trained, and I haven't shown any separation anxiety. I'm looking for someone who understands that confidence can't be rushed—but once I trust you, you'll have a loyal companion who's ready to keep growing by your side.
