Meet Alfred!
Alfred is a big-hearted, well-behaved pit bull with an even bigger love for his people. This lovable snuggler wants nothing more than to be right by your side—preferably thinking he’s a lap dog! If you’re looking for a devoted companion who thrives on human connection, Alfred may be your perfect match.
Alfred is a smart, communicative guy who lets you know when he needs to go out by heading straight to the door. He walks beautifully on leash and looks forward to his morning and evening strolls, soaking up the world one step at a time. His foster family notes that although he does not have puppy energy, he enjoys getting exercise every day. He likes other dogs and is friendly when playing with other dogs.
Because Alfred has dry eyes (a genetic condition), he needs daily eye drops and gentle cleaning—but don’t worry, he’s very cooperative and patient during his care. His slightly decreased eyesight also means he has a harder time navigating in the dark. He has a little too much interest in feral cats, so we recommend no cats for him.
Affection is Alfred’s love language. He adores kisses, gentle chin nibbles, and close cuddles, and he’ll happily shower you with love whenever he gets the chance. He also enjoys being around kids! He would do wonderfully with adults or a family with kids. Sweet, loyal, and endlessly cuddly, Alfred is ready to find a forever home where he can be cherished as much as he cherishes his human(s).
