I've found my furever family!

Hi, I'm Dougie! I'm pretty sure someone took the recipe for a classic yellow Lab, added a little extra goofiness, and came up with me. I love investigating absolutely everything, and when I decide it's time to get moving, I have some of the funniest zoomies you'll ever see. I've also decided that holding hands with my people is an excellent way to spend my time, so don't be surprised if I come looking for your hand to hold. I'm affectionate, curious, and always ready to see what we're getting into next.

I've got some good leash manners and a natural drive to work, so I'd love someone who wants to keep both my body and my brain busy. I'm happy to go for a walk, investigate something new, or work on some training—and then I can settle in and enjoy some quality time with my people. I should do well with other dogs and kids, though we don't know how I feel about cats just yet. If you're looking for a classic Lab personality wrapped up in a big goofy package, I think I'm your guy!
