Hi, I'm Valerie! I come with my very own built-in security system, and let me tell you, it works wonderfully. I'm naturally observant and keep a close eye on what's happening around me. If something unusual is going on outside, I'll make sure my family knows about it—but I'm not constantly barking just to hear myself talk. Once I've determined everything is fine, I'm perfectly happy to come back inside and curl up for a nap with my people.
I'm a smart girl who really wants to please my humans, and I'm working on a few things like meeting strangers and remembering that leash walks don't require me to pull toward every interesting thing. I'm crate trained, know how to use a doggy door, and enjoy going out for trails and adventures with my family. I do well with other dogs with proper introductions, and I'm also okay with cats—sometimes I even seem to think I'm one!
