Well hello there — how lovely to make your acquaintance. I’m Clara, and I’m one of the resident good girls here at Grand Rivers Humane. When I’m out and about, I do adore people, though I much prefer to be the one who makes the first introduction. A lady must have standards, after all. I could do with polishing up my manners just a touch, but I’d be ever so pleased to become your favorite brewery companion, happily joining you and your friends on your little outings. I do enjoy a proper adventure, but once the day’s excitement has come to an end and you’re settling in on the sofa, you’ll find me quite ready for a cosy cuddle as well. I’m wonderfully confident with people bustling about and even popping the odd peculiar accessory on me — they insisted it was called a “headband,” though I’m not entirely convinced that’s relevant. I’d likely do rather well with other dogs and children in my new home, though they aren’t strictly necessary. What matters most to me is finding my very own person — someone who appreciates a good girl with a bit of charm and just the right amount of cheek.
