Calling all dog sport lovers and trail runners! We have just the girl for you! Meet Amber- An active, sweet and silly Border Collie mix who would love to be your best hiking buddy! While Amber still needs to work on her basic skills, she is such a typical border collie and still acts like a puppy! She's incredibly smart and loves to stay busy! We expect her to be very easy to train as long as she gets her steps in each day. Whether thats training or some sort of dog sport, this girls wants to move her little body. She would be a great running buddy or hiking companion and would love for you to throw the ball until the cows come home! Cows? What Cows? We think Amber would thrive with or without another dog in the home. However, she may want to keep younger children in line when they are being rowdy- typical of these working dog breeds. Older kids might be a better fit for this little lady. Plus, when the day is done, and she has chased her ball, she's totally down to just sit in your lap and chill out. She loves her toys (especially tennis balls) and loves to play fetch with them. Don't let this girl sit for too long, she's ready to get out and be active with you!
