While Harry is a bit shy at first, he's quickly learning that not everything is bad in the world, one pawstep at a time. Right now, Harry is recovering from a head injury so he is a little head shy. Soon, once he's healed, he will learn to love all the ear scratches and pets! In the meantime, while he's still learning, he is absolutely obsessed with his butt scratches and will lean into someone if they're willing to be on his level and give them to him. Another thing he loves - hot dogs. He'll take them super gently from our volunteers and them eat them at his own pace before returning for more love and treats. Harry has likely lived outdoors his whole life so he will need someone to teach him what the indoor pampered dog life is like! Being a collie, he is going to pick up training fast because they're SMART! He will eventually make a great hiking companion once he's all healed up! We are so excited to have him as a GRHS pup and get him into his furever home!
