Braveheart is a young Belgian Malinois that was found on the side of the road in very poor condition by a Good Samaritan and brought to the Animal ER in GJ. He was found to be extremely emaciated, anemic, and dehydrated. He has been under the close watch of a veterinarian as he slowly gains weight and becomes healthier. He has made great strides in his foster home and will be neutered in the next few weeks and then posted as adoptable.
He is extremely intelligent and very driven. He enjoys mental stimulation (learning new commands, puzzles, scent games) and physical exercise. He is very good at fetch and enjoys walks and hikes. He is friendly with other friendly dogs but mostly coexists - he is much more interested in his humans than playing with other dogs. He has also been around goats and does well with this. He will need an active adopter that is familiar with his breed and can offer stimulation to keep him happy!
